we stayed in the old stables no 2. cottage and it was beautiful. the grounds are stunning too. we stayed with another couple and all went to the big church festival just 20 mins down the road so was perfect and meant we didn't have to go camping thank goodness. There's enough bathrooms …

we stayed in the old stables no 2. cottage and it was beautiful. the grounds are stunning too. we stayed with another couple and all went to the big church festival just 20 mins down the road so was perfect and meant we didn't have to go camping thank goodness. There's enough bathrooms for both couples and the kitchen diner is a good size. With outdoor seating and table it was lovely in the sunny weather to have our meal outside on the first day. Will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It’s a beautiful setting, cottage is very cosy and equipped with everything you need.

Very happy with our stay. Even the small things like milk on arrival for tea and coffee makes a huge difference. Beautiful cottage and very quiet.

Andrews cottage is nested at beautiful location at country side. If you are looking for a peaceful stay at a neat and clean place trust me you can't go wrong!! The cottage is a quick drive from sea side at Brighton so in my opinion the place is perfect for a short break.

A place created with such excellent taste and sense of design, superbly appointed, couldn't fault it.
Delicious goodies provided in a welcome pack, all much appreciated.
Spotlessly clean.
Lovely church just down the lane, with a pretty churchyard.

Superb barn conversion on an historic estate. Easy access to lots of villages, excellent pubs, across that part of the South Downs. Brighton only 20 mins away.

A very private, relaxing, safe environment, the cottage was fabulously clean, warm and comfortable, it had everything I needed. Would highly recommend.

Didn't use the grounds. Underfloor heating made it very cosy.
Check-in from 5 was disappointing.
Good quality furnishings and friendly/useful details left for us in the manner of tea, coffee, honey, biscuits, bread and such like.

Quiet tranquil. It off the beaten track but perfect for a quiet stay . Very clean and well equipped.

Just enjoyed a fantastic stay at 2 Moatside. It is an exceptional place - interesting, spacious, immaculately clean and well equipped. In a word, perfect!

We enjoyed our previous stay in this very stylish and comfortable cottage so much in the spring that we decided to come back at the end of summer. This time we brought my 89 year old mother & it worked perfectly as it is all on one level, and she appreciated the comfort of the bed & her own bathroom…
