The holiday cottage is situated inside a former walled garden within the grounds of Newtimber Place, which is about 7 miles north of the city of Brighton and Hove. There are fruit trees on the walls and the rest of the area is grass. The nearest neighbour is the other side of the wall!

The cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms - one king, one double and one twin and is available for booking for full weeks for holidays. It is also available for short breaks.

Main bedroom with ensuite bathroom

The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a separate shower and bath; the twin bedroom has its own shower room and toilet (adjoining, not ensuite) and the downstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

There is a fully fitted kitchen with the usual appliances including freezer, microwave, washer/dryer machine and dishwasher. There is parking for 3 cars. The rear garden is fenced securely for children.

There are lots of walks nearby and the cottage is within the South Downs National Park.Towels, linen, central heating, hot water and electric are all included in the price (except for car charging). There is an EV charge point to charge your car - it's a 7.2KW mode 3 with a Type 2 socket so you'd need to bring your own lead. Due to the cost of electric, there is a charge for this.

We also include liquid soap, shower gel, washing up liquid, washing powder, tea and coffee etc We regret we cannot accept pets as sheep graze adjoining the cottage. We do not allow smoking inside the cottage.
