The location was fantastic, stunning views, well equipped and lovely cottage. The local woodland walks was a highlight, seen wild deer too. Easy options to commute via bus to Brighton. Peaceful surroundings and immersed in nature.

Pristine and spacious in a quiet location with an easy commute into Brighton. Everything shouted quality. A great place for 3 generations to relax. Wonderful home made jam and local honey. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at Moatside Lodge 2. The scenery and surrounding grounds are absolutely gorgeous, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The cottage itself is lovely, spacious, and very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Having two double bedrooms made it ideal, with plenty of room for everyone.
The location is excellent too, with lots of different places and attractions just a short drive away, so there's plenty to explore during your stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommended!

Went with my mum and sister to visit relatives in Brighton 15 minute drive. The Moat house was lovely, bread,biscuits, milk, butter, jam and honey was alovely touch well equipped, very clean the most comfortable beds.The surroundings were beautiful would definitely recommend a stay here

A fabulous stay!

We were attending a wedding in the local area and needed a home from home as travelled with small children - 1 Moatside certainly delivered on all fronts! Clean, comfortable, well equipped and all in a beautiful setting!! Would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful accommodation!

We thoroughly enjoyed it and are certainly looking to find an opportunity to return for a longer period.

Great place for a family gathering, all the facilities you would need and so much helpful advice. It was a shame to only spend two nights, we would happily stay again!

Such a beautiful peaceful place and a perfect little home from home. Placed perfectly for walks at Devils Dyke and trips to Brighton. Sooooo relaxing

Third stay here. Comfortable, very clean, well equipped. Walled garden is a perfect setting. The cottage garden itself is secure for small children.
Hosts are excellent communicators . Would definitely recommend . Hope to be back ourselves
