Orchard House is a beautiful place ,set in delightful surroundings. It has been tastefully decorated and is supplied with all the essential items for a holiday home. The rooms are well appointed , especially the master bedroom and ensuite which is enormous.
The wooden flooring is perfect for the overall interior decoration but a bit of a challenge for those with mobility issues. Although there is a ground floor bedroom ,the ensuite is not designed to be for disabled access so not entirely suitable for the less mobile.
The house has everything you could need for a lovely holiday stay and the welcome pack which includes home made produce is a special extra

Accurate description and very well appointed.

Lovely cottage in beautiful grounds. Cottage was easy to find and the beds were all really comfy with lots of bathrooms for everyone. We really enjoyed breakfast in the walled garden and their was plenty of parking

A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting, secluded from others but good to know the host is nearby if needed (which we didn’t). All amenities and facilities well thought out and plenty of space for all our guests. Will definitely rebook if visiting the area again.

what an fantastic property! we were lucky enough to stay at orchard cottage for a family get together after having not seen each other for 3 years due to the pandemic and we can't say enough good things about it. the property was spotlessly clean, well maintained, with an amazingly well equipped kitchen and all rooms are furnished to a high standard. the beds in particular were incredibly comfortable. the outside space is amazing, perfect for long summer days with lots of grass to run or loll around on. the surrounding countryside is also stunning, we can really recommend the walk up at the jack and jill windmills.
couple of minor things to note, not issues but things to be aware of: although the location is in a country setting there is a surprising amount of noise from the a23. although we all got used to it over our 6 day stay, the constant traffic hum in the background (which also doesn't really stop over night) is a consideration if you are looking for perfect peace and quiet. the garden is beautiful but very exposed during the summer with sun pretty much all day - we were very spoiled with perfect weather and luckily one of our group had a camping gazebo to provide additional shade to the supplied outside table and umbrella but we would have had to retreat inside without it (typical englishman moaning about it it being too sunny!). the fridge is a very small under counter model, which while perfectly serviceable wasn't really big enough (we supplemented it with a cool box and ice). as mentioned, the above aren't problems and wouldn't have put us off our stay, but they are maybe useful to know for other holiday makers.
we can't recommend the property more, and we're really looking forward to booking another stay soon. thank you to andrew for making such an amazing place available and our stay so perfect.

Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and the convenience of 3 bath rooms made this ideal for a group of friends like ourselves to get away together. Lovely private location within a private walled garden with plenty of parking.
