Pristine and spacious in a quiet location with an easy commute into Brighton. Everything shouted quality. A great place for 3 generations to relax. Wonderful home made jam and local honey. Would definitely return.

A fabulous stay!

We were attending a wedding in the local area and needed a home from home as travelled with small children - 1 Moatside certainly delivered on all fronts! Clean, comfortable, well equipped and all in a beautiful setting!! Would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful accommodation!

We were on business locally and needed somewhere to retreat to at the end of the day. You relax as drive down the approach lane which has a number of incredible trees either side. We thoroughly enjoyed it and are certainly looking to find an opportunity to return for a longer period.

Perfect countryside home with all mod cons and wonderful walks in the woods

Such a beautiful peaceful place and a perfect little home from home. Placed perfectly for walks at Devils Dyke and trips to Brighton. Sooooo relaxing

We found Andrew’s place to be absolutely immaculate throughout! Every room was well equipment, from the games in the living room table to the utensils in the kitchen!

If you want a peaceful base with loads to do in the area… you need to book this!

Wonderful location and accommodation everything provided that you needed for a comfortable stay. You do need a vehicle for travel to nearest pub/ village but we already knew this. Would recommend and we would book again ….. thank you !

We had an absolutely fabulous time, met up with other guests who also loved everything. Andrew also supplied bread, milk, butter, jam and honey. As someone from the Midlands it is not often you are treated to products from M&S !
The interior was so spacious, underfloor heating was maybe a bit war…

Great stay as always and rebooked

Beautiful property and location for our 2 day stay

We really loved the cottage and the estate - the main house and moat are beautiful. Cottage clean and with quality linen and crockery etc. perfect for our 2 day visit

A tastefully converted former worker’s cottage, well equipped, spacious and beautifully located.
